This had to be the scariest place...

you had to smell these things! Yummy!!

The entrance to the Witch Museum...

this sign says,

"Bridget Bishop...Hanged...June 10, 1692.

I am no witch, I am innocent."

This is very powerful stuff...

This is a wax display of author Nathaniel Hawthorne,

author of The Scarlett Letter.

This is the Witch Trial Memorial Statue.

This is what the plaque said beside of it...

"Before you lies a heart-stirring statue that

\

stands in our museum as an immortal

testament to the horrifying irrationality that

swept through Salem in 1692. On the ground,

with a haggard face dejected in despair,

lies Rebecca Nurse, who was accused of witchcraft.

Above Rebecca, struck with great terror and alarm,

stands her two sisters: Mary Esty and Sarah Cloyse.

Because she attempted to defend her sister,

Mary was also hanged as a witch.

Sarah was somehow miraculously spared."
