When I took this picture, we were on the ferry for Martha's Vineyard and we were waiting to leave. This is a shot of the marina and basically what they are doing is removing the boats from the water and placing them on "racks" for future use. Again, another "hick" moment I had to capture on film. *smile*
We left Falmouth on the ferry at 9 in the morning...we were engulfed in fog! We were hopeful that it would burn off...after about ten minutes we sailed out of it, see photo below...
The sun!! The sun!! Did you ever see the 1970's movie King Kong? For some reason this is what it reminded me of, this thick fog that slowly parted and gave you a magnificent view of this secluded island. Okay, don't ask why I thought of King Kong, I just did!
